Protecting your privacy is important to us. Below, we transparently explain what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it when you visit our website or submit an inquiry.

1. Data Controller

2. What Data We Process and Why

  • Contact Form: If you send us an inquiry, we process your name, e-mail address, and the content of your message. We use this data exclusively to handle your request and for subsequent communication. The legal basis is the performance of steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Web Analytics (Google Analytics): With your explicit consent, we use analytical tools to monitor website traffic. We process your anonymized IP address and browsing behavior. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3. Use of Cookies

Our website uses "cookies" (small text files stored in your browser):

  • Essential (Technical): Necessary for the proper functioning of the website and storing your privacy preferences. These cookies cannot be disabled and do not require your consent.
  • Analytical: Used to measure statistics via Google Analytics. These are activated only if you grant consent by clicking "Accept All" in our cookie banner.

4. Data Retention Period

We retain data from the contact form for the time strictly necessary to process your inquiry, but no longer than 3 years from the last contact (unless a contract is concluded). Data from analytical cookies are retained for a maximum of 14 months and are then automatically deleted.

5. Who Has Access to the Data

We primarily process your data ourselves as the controller. We do not sell or provide data from contact forms to any third parties for marketing purposes. Google Ireland Limited acts as a processor and has access to the anonymized analytical data.

6. Your Rights Under the GDPR

As a data subject, you have the right to request at any time:

  • Access: Information about what personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification and Erasure: The correction of inaccurate data or its complete deletion (the "right to be forgotten").
  • Withdrawal of Consent: To withdraw your consent for the use of cookies and analytics (this can be done by deleting cookies in your browser).

You can exercise your rights by emailing us at info@as1tech.cz. If you are unsatisfied with how we handle your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant Data Protection Authority (e.g., www.uoou.cz).
